Caryatid Heritage & Culture is an independent consultancy supporting historic houses, estates and cultural organisations with collections care, disaster planning, exhibitions and filming support.

Founded by heritage specialist Kate Ballenger, Caryatid works closely with estate teams to develop practical, thoughtful solutions that help protect collections while enabling historic places to remain active and welcoming.

Historic houses are both working environments and places of cultural significance. Caryatid’s approach recognises this balance, providing advice that is practical, proportionate and sensitive to the character of each property.
